Allow me to introduce myself - I'm Jamie-Leigh Dean, the proud founder of Eventually Cornwall, where creativity meets strategy in the heart of Cornwall. Whether you're a new business or a small enterprise looking to make waves, I'm here to help you shine. Let's dive into my story and what Eventually Cornwall is all about.

Let's Get Personal

Moving 6 hours away from your family and friends to live in Cornwall, UK can be daunting, but sometimes when opportunity knocks, you just have to answer! It's been nearly 7 years since I made that leap and looking back, it's amazing to see how far I've come on this incredible journey.

I made the big move to Liskeard in 2018 and have since reached some exciting milestones! Not only was I proposed to, I've also been able to purchase my first house and marry my best friend in Cornwall. We've been able to revel in the stunning landscapes that Cornwall offers, while also navigating the challenges of lockdown during the Covid period. I've created lasting friendships, welcomed family for extended visits, and truly embraced the essence of Cornwall.

The Journey Begins

My adventure into the world of digital marketing and events started with a passion for being creative, helping others and getting involved. I've had the great opportunities of completing both a Graphic Design Apprenticeship and a Digital Marketing Apprenticeship, as well as photographing events for town councils and businesses. I have being able to gain invaluable experiences working as a Graphic Designer, Digital Marketer, and Event Coordinator. And in my spare time I enjoy hosting themed online singing competitions. All of these incredible opportunities and exciting roles have now paved the way for me to start my own entrepreneurial adventure and establish Eventually Cornwall - my very own marketing & events business!

Beyond the Horizon

Looking ahead, my goal is to grow Eventually Cornwall into a go-to resource for businesses and individuals seeking creative and strategic support. I'm committed to expanding my services, increasing brand awareness, and helping more individuals and businesses achieve their dreams. Eventually I want to be able to help individuals build their portolfio and gain invaluable experiences to further their career goals. From students in education that want to gain work experience for their future career path, to self-employed adults that are looking to do what they love without having any prior experience. I also want to be able to help my clients beyond their marketing. I want to create a community where individuals and businesses alike can support and help one another. Through networking and events, I want to provide a space where I can help my clients grow.

Since becoming self-employed, I've been fortunate to receive a range of support and guidance from Growth Hub and British Business Bank. I've participated in engaging in-person and online workshops to gain a solid grasp of business fundamentals, and I have easy access to a wealth of resources. By becoming a member of Your Partnerships, an outstanding organisation known for hosting diverse networking events, I've had the opportunity to meet inspiring individuals and forge valuable connections. With enthusiasm, I'm currently collaborating with three new clients and focusing on growing my business. There's a lot more to learn and some great ideas to put into place, but I'm so excited to get locked in and see what 2025 brings!
