Eventually Cornwall Nominated for Start Up Business of the Year!

I'm so happy to share that Eventually Cornwall has been nominated for the Start Up Business of the Year Award at the West Country Women's Awards 2025. This recognition means the world to me, especially as I'm still only in my first year of business.

Nominated by a Wonderful Supporter

The nomination came from the lovely Louise, who I met earlier this year. Here's what she had to say:

"I met Jamie-Leigh earlier this year not too long after she started her business, and as a young and dynamic entrepreneur, her passion for people and supporting their needs shone through immediately. Her vision for putting on events is now coming to fruition and her ability to help other businesses with her marketing knowledge and personalised approach means she is building a great business. Still in its first year, it is growing from strength to strength, but her personality and kind approach makes her stand out and I wanted to help her be recognised for that."

Reading those words made this whole year worth it! When I started Eventually Cornwall, my goal was simple: make marketing affordable for small businesses (with a love for events on the side). I'll admit, I didn't have a perfectly mapped-out plan, just a passion for marketing, events, and helping others. There were moments when I wasn't sure exactly what direction I wanted to go (probably changed my mind one too many times), but over the past year, I've done so much networking and talking about my business, that I've officially found my niche, and I'm so excited for the future ahead.

Why This Nomination Matters

Being recognised by the West Country Women's Awards is not just a personal achievement, but a celebration of the amazing community I get to work with every day. The South West is full of inspiring entrepreneurs, and I'm so grateful to be part of this network. This nomination is a reminder that kindness, collaboration, and a little bit of spirit really do make a difference.
